As per the title.

Jolla1 SFOS 3.0.1.11

Each time Settings/Apps/Camera/ is visited, I see the message "No memory card inserted", if I tap on that text, a drop-down menu opens and shows "Device memory" and underneath "Memory card 28.7GB" - If I select memory card, the card is used, no problem.

If I leave Settings altogether and go back in again, I see the same message "No memory card inserted" despite the fact the card is actually being used. It seems the drop down menu is not saving the last setting/operation.

I have pulled the card completely and inserted again, but the message "No memory card inserted" persists.

This problem is not present on my other Jolla1 also running OS version (3.0.1.11)

Also affects Xperia X as commented by user @santeira below.

I have also faced the same problem, as far as I remember (I am using an XA2 Plus now) I had to reboot.

@Dam

Your link also leads to a duplicate. This highlights how people use different search terms. I always search as best I can, but people make such convoluted titles. Oh well, thanks, closing in favour of the 'original'.
