Russian company New Cloud Technologies has launched the MyOffice Documents mobile application for the Sailfish OS, reports Cnews.ru. Users of the OS can use the editing and file management tool.

These users were earlier able to use Russian messengers, cloud storage services, browsers, corporate mailing and other options.

Is there a way to get these apps on harbor or openrepos?

Mobile versions are free. But there is no option to download for SailfishOS https://myoffice.ru/mobile/

After reading some of the comments left by users on Google Play is just like reading parts of this forum, all complaints about how certain features do not work or are missing. Not much to see here, for now. Perhaps we might get it when it is less broken.

It seems to me we have a walled garden. From a SFOS developer's perspective, its even worsers because (assuming the walled garden to be reality) there's obviously possilbiity for revenue in it, but only selected developers have access to it. I guess this fits the business model, so from a customer's perspective it's fine.

For me no problem buying a phone in Russia for this. Which phones are actually available there for selling?

Try this:

https://apkpure.com/de/myoffice%C2%AE-documents/com.ncloudtech.cloudoffice/download?from=details https://apkpure.com/de/myoffice%C2%AE-mail/com.ncloudtech.mail/download?from=details

I installed both apps and works perfectly on my Xperia X. This are no native sailfish apps! Only Android apk made in Russia ;))

The INOI-Devices are without AlienDalvik. So there should be a native version in the future.

FWIW: both apps run on Jolla1 3.0.1.11
