User data amost full because of invisible Android files [answered]

On my Xperia X, when using SFOS settings/storage, user data is taking up almost all its space. When I click for details, it says that 14.5GB is taken by "Android app data files". And this not possible to have more details from settings. BUT I have no idea how to clean up that. And this does not seem to be 'normal'.
I tried to use the application 'Space inspector' but android_storage is taking only 54.4MB while the user directory is taking 1.2GB. I have no idea how to see what is taking so much space as it does not seem to be in the standard folder. And it seems that this is gradually increasing as I keep deleting other files that I can "see" to get some free available space in user data...
Before I remove android compatibility and re-install it (and then if not enough, re-initialise the phone), maybe someone could help me :P ??
I have the terminal at hand and I tried to play a little bit with du and df commands but I am such a noob ;) that I did not find anything specific.
For info, in settings, other storages are: 1/ System data (almost 1GB free) and 2/ a 128GB memory card formatted as EXT4 (64GB free)
