If I open app list directly from lock screen (swipe from bottom while in lock screen) the screen turns off after a timeout period of maybe 5 seconds, even if I was scrolling the list.

The problem does not present itself if t app list is opened from home screen.

Even though I tagged 3.0.2.8 (Oulanka) I think it was already present in previous 3.x versions

I did not try yet if it's the same on Jolla 1, C or the tablet.

Disable the Set Automatically feature and manually set up a time for a date that was in the past. Then, restart your device. Once the reboot issue is resolved, change your date and time settings back to Set Automatically bluestacks.

Reproduced and internal ticket filed.

NB In all likelihood this is general issue and not related to any particular device.

@Nrde Can you confirm that these steps describe the problem you spotted?

  1. Go to Settings -> Device lock; Set Automatic locking = not in use
  2. Settings -> Gestures; Quick access to camera = disabled
  3. Blank screen with power key
  4. Unblank screen with power key
  5. Swipe from bottom -> app grid is shown

Expected:

  • normal display blanking delay (e.g. 30s) is used

Actual:

  • display blanks in couple of seconds (i.e. blanking delay for lockscreen context stays active)

EDIT 2019-06-13:

Reason: In situation like this the app grid / launcher is shown in lockscreen context and exit from lockscreen happens when application icon is selected -> Until that happens, blanking timeout is controlled based on whether or not lockscreen is in "expecting user interaction" state -> The signaling was incorrect -> Display got turned off too soon.

Should be fixed in sfos >= 3.1.1.x

I had to add security code to be able to change it to "not in use" (from "no delay") quick access to camera was/is off

blank/unblank, swipe from bottom:

app list is shown but display still blanks in about 5 seconds
