Email fails to start after 3.0.2.8 update
After the update to 3.0.2.8 (Xperia X) I can no longer start the email app. Email notifications are still shown, but the app just dies after trying to launch it. How can I debug and solve this issue?

You can check: https://together.jolla.com/question/42160/email-update-fails-and-messageserver5-goes-crazy/ to find how to debug probelms with mails.
In last few days I had problems where my jolla1 hangs and only possible option was remove battery. Also I found that one of my google accounts did not refresh any more. Using debug option from the above link helped me to figure out issue.
In my case remove and once again adding that problematic account solved issue and now phone did not hangs.

and to install;devel-su pkcon install jolla-email
In relation to edz comment it could also be a failed/incomplete upgrade? Disable all openrepos repository and all the other must-do-before-upgrade stuff (call recorder, ofono...) and devel-su version --dup.
Something I would check. I cannot understand why Jolla removed the --verify
