Xperia XA2 Plus , after updating to 3.0.3.9 the phone does not find a network after starting up, it only helps: settings - SIM cards - change from 1 to 2 and again.

Same for me, I have to enable the second SIM briefly if I boot wirh only the first sim active. If I don't do this no network is found with the first SIM

In my experience, this issue got a bit better with the last updates. However, it still occurs. It is more frequent with roaming. Enabling/disabling fligt mode is also a possible workaround.

Is this a duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/205562/3039-gsm-network-will-not-reconnect-after-reboot-but-will-for-full-shutdown/ ? If so, you can continue from there; we have a bug report about the issue already.

I experience the same issue after a cold start of the phone. The phone is in able to connect to mobile network when I restart it. The SIM card is always in the first slot. However, I didn't try to change the SIM card slot via the SIM card settings. That might be worth a try.

Me too For me, I got 2 sim card, this issue only happened if I disable the sim card slot 2, and just use sim card slot 1. However, if I enabled both of them, no any issue, so i keep enabled 2 sim slot (with sim) .

Same, putting the phone briefly into airplane mode usually does the trick.
