Xperia X randomly shutting down

Hey together, i upgraded my Xperia X to 3.0.3.9, but since then i had several sudden and unrecognized shutdowns. I turned on my Xperia X in the morning, and at some point it shutdown by itself. Its the first Sailfish OS version where i am encountering that problem, until now everything went smooth. Okay i use also a few patches from Openrepos, so maybe this could also influence the functioning of the OS. Did anyone else realize such a behaviour? Thanks to the community :)

This happened to me two times yesterday with Xperia X. I don't have any patches.

hi, no Xperia X shutdown here since wednesday update. how was the phone battery ?

AFAK, battery is Ok and I keep it charged. But I'm also having larger battery drain since 3.0.3 update. Both shutdowns happened with phone in my pocket.

For me also, the phone was 85% charged, i charge it every morning, and shut down in my pocket...

patch manager is installed with select color schema in ambiences and BT is OFF

Updated whatsapp to the latest version (2.19.138). Four days no randomly shutting down.

I have not had random shutdowns after WA update too. Odd but maybe that was the cause!

Apparently other users face similar problems! But interestingly with 3.0.3.8 i did not have any problems

I have had 3 unexpected shutdowns, one for sure w/ 3.0.3.9 but both/either possibly w/ previous one

have had 7 sudden unexpected quick reboots too, feels like related to using android apps, not using whatsapp tho, ever. reboots like this is not something I recall from previous OS releases. I hope this issue will be found and fixed. Edit: Still happens, it seems to be related to loosing mobile/data connectivity, also including switches between 3G and 4G.

Happens on my Xperia too. Never seen it occur, always been when phone is locked on my desk or in my pocket.
