XA2 Plus, 4G network settings, automatically changing the network to 3G, the following message appears: network connection error

Edit: Sometimes the message will also appear when changing the network mode from 3G to 4G, randomly XA2 asks you to choose a network connection: 3G / 4G or Wi-Fi

Edit: The Wi-Fi symbol appears on the left side of the message

I've got similar issue sometimes but it doesn't switch to 3G or any other. My XA2 just drops whole and connects back and again drops etc. After some time it settles down. I'm not quite sure what causes this issue, no problems in my network though

I see this message each time right after the call end.

Situations app can not change from 4G to 3G or 2G, either. I thought it was due to the app, but now I feel that this failure might be due to this bug. ?., also. [3.1.0.11, XA2 4113 dual sim].

It seems not to be just XA2 problem. My Jolla gives same notification at least when switchin from 4G to 3G. I have situation that changes mode to 3G when screen is off and 4G when it's on. Not sure if it happen every time. This behaviour appeared some updates ago, can't remember was it in 3.0.0 or later.

@N9Sailfish has switch worked before 3.1.0? I bought prepaid sim for testing after update so I don't know. If it is general problem with Sailfish, I'm not updating my Jolla yet.

@mSorvisto Yes, Situations app worked well before 3.1.0.11 after fix (of Situations App to ver .236) for 3.0.1.14. But after last update of SFOS it (Situations) can not change network settings.

I've noticed the same behavior on my XA2 Ultra running 3.0.3.9. This, however, doesn't seem to affect connectivity at all, and if I've caught the message maybe it's too late as when I look @ the phone it remains on 4G connectivity. Maybe a low reception due to our carrier makes the message pop when network makes a brief 3G/4G change? That is just an assumption of course. Cheers
