Additional (strange) screen slide when swiping from the side with open apps menu
I encountered a strange slide when swiping from the left or the right depending on the view from where I open the app menu screen. It is hard to describe textual. Is there a way to record the screen and make a gif?
I try to explain in 2 cases and steps:
CASE 1
STEP 1: open the app menu from the main home screen
STEP 2: swipe from the left to view the notifications screen
--> there is a strange automatic slide from home screen to notification screen visible
(no problem when swiping from the right, you see the home screen normally)
CASE 2
STEP 1: open the app menu from the notification screen
STEP 2: swipe from the right to view the home screen
--> there is a strange automatic slide from notification screen to home screen visible
(no problem when swiping from the left, you see the notification screen normally)
This behaviour is not present, when opening the app menu above some running app. In this case you can swipe from left or right and do not see this strange automatic slide of background screens.
I also cannot see this bug anywhere on my Jolla 1 with Sailfish 3.0.0.8.
Did you understand and does it happen to you too?
In the Settings - Gestures, do you have the topmost selection lit? "Fast Events Opening" or something like that in English.
Case 1 happens to me on XA2 in 3.0.3.9 with the aforementioned selection lit. It stops happening when I unlit the selection.
teemu ( 2019-05-16 01:11:13 +0200 )editlol, this is clearly intended behaviour! you are changing screens in the caroussel, so there is an animation. no surprise abd totally expected. no animation when opening from app because the app view is not related to a specific view in the caroussel...
misc11 ( 2019-05-16 04:16:05 +0200 )editIt happens on my Jolla Phone with SFOS 3.0.1.11, too. And when I unlit the Quick Events access option (@teemu) it does only happen from the Events screen with app drawer open, but to both sides then.
