What kind of update should that be? Since the newest update wlan is no longer stable, especially during Android usage. Feels more like a downgrade than an update

The same here. It seems only the first start of an Android app after reconnecting to the Wifi works. But I'm not able to reproduce it all the time.

I can not confirm. XA2 Dual SIM

Uh, sorry, but seems partial. Threema works in general, but ThreemaWeb did not work. After barcode reading : "No internet connection"

After a quick test, WhatsApp seems to work, Aurora Store doesn't and neither does Spotify.

Confirming, basically.

I also confirm. Protonmail is not working. After rebooting the phone (and WIFI activated) Protonmail works. But turning WIFI off and back on, Protonmail will not work, 'no internet connection'.

My WIFI is working after manually connecting to it in Android. You need to open Android settings and connect from there.

Open Android settings by either using Aliendalvik Control by Coderus or go to Settings -> Apps, select an Android app (any) and from there press Open Android Settings, then go back one page in the Android settings app and select Network & Internet. Then just press Wi-Fi and connect to yours.

I'm using the v17B binaries.

It's still just a workaround but at least it's better than restarting the whole dalvik.

Confirming; these steps work at least in my case.

Not a solution, but a workaround (and a rather inconvenient one): Stopping and restarting the Android support from within the settings helps for a while (this works at least with a XA2 Dual Sim H4113). Restarting can be done during startup of an app too.

Disconnecting and reconnecting to the WLAN as I stated before doesn't work all the time.

It is not really a solution, indeed. I am back on 3.0.3.9.

Jolla should pull back 3.0.3.10

It's not practical needing to restart android runtime each time :(

Mariusmssj ( 2019-05-30 14:22:35 +0300 )edit

It doesn't help in my case...

Restarting Android support worked like a spell :-) and finally - I could use DB Navigator again, which is the most important app on my phone. So this update has been an improvement, the bug notwithstanding.

@Dreej which kind of wifi it is on your device?
Which binary do you use on it? v16 or v17B?
A known issue is with 5mhz wifi...:
https://together.jolla.com/question/203845/release-notes-303-hossa/#203845-known-issues-specific-to-xperia-xa2
Did you tried with an other binaries? back to v16 or up to v17B?
To do this without touch sfos please show the following threads:
