Swipe right to access Gallery in Camera app not working

Since the update yesterday to Hossa 3.0.3.10, swiping right to access the Gallery from the Camera app no longer works. Swiping right now brings up a blank (black) screen.Swiping left from here takes you back to the camera, just as you would expect.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Sorry, the device is an Xperia X
This function started working a day or so later. I had tried a restart originally without any effect.
I guess it was one of those random things that happen from time to time.

On my XA2 Ultra no problems with the swipe.
