Hi I'm on the lateste release (3.0.3.10) but had this problem since a long time. I have both app installed but they quite mixed up. When i open Onenote it opens Excel!

I had to desinstall Exel in order to be able to use Onenote...

I had the same problem - I installed Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote, but no matter which one I chose, Excel would launch. If Excel is already running, the cover for whichever app I tried to launch will appear, then disappear. So I uninstalled Excel, then tried again and only OneNote will launch. Same behavior. OneNote is the one I want most, so I just uninstalled the rest. If it matters, I installed them using the Aurora Store. The OneDrive and Office Lens apps work fine.

This is a duplicate bug report of this post from a month ago and an issue I reported to Jolla in March. Please read the previous post for the answer to the question (TLDR - it affects all Office apps and is still unresolved, though Jolla have reproduced the issue and are working on a fix, ETA TBC).

Funny... usually the same here - the Microsoft Office Apps get mixed up all arround sometimes. I want to take a screenshot to show my workarround for that situation. But now in this moment, every Microsoft Office App will forward me to OneNote (-:

I will try to explain, because from Onenote to the other Microsoft Office Apps that will not work. In Word, Excel, PowerPoint,.. you have your Microsoft Account profile picture or a blank people icon for options in the top left corner (next to the name of the App) --> touch that --> you will have a multiple dot array (3x3) icon called "Office-Apps" at the bottom of that menue --> touch that --> a list of the other Microsoft Office APps will show up --> from there I was everytime able to touch the App I want - and the App I want will start (-:

No need of de-/install Apps (-:
