(XA2) [3.1.0] Contacts.db reached > 700 MB and keeps growing due to enabled google account

DeletedContacts table contains 5200064 entries and keeps populating with things like these:

5200103 aggregate 2019-07-21 16:00:54.863 5200102 google 2019-07-21 16:00:54.812

Right, I know. And that thread helped me a lot to find out location of contacts.db. But my point (which I forgot to mention and beg pardon for this) is that even after manual deletion of database it keeps populating with such an entries. As for the contacts - I don't see anything looking like corrupted so unsure what exactly entry causes such a behavior. But it definitely looks like a bug for me.

Is this Android related as the title suggests? Or do you mean Settings > Accounts > Google, in which case it's not? Where is the contacts.db located?

Yes, this is generic issue, not related to android. I beg pardon for the confusion, removing 'android' from title...

I've had this problem many versions ago. It has never been fixed. The only reliable way to use google contacts on the phone is to have synchronization only one way and sync manually.
