Hi,

on my Xpera XA2 plus running 3.1.0.11, when I change volume, it does not show the volume bar at the top. So I never see the volume level.

Anyone else experienced this?

Edit 2019-11-02: This can be reproduced for example when letting the remorse timer run out (wait the 5 seconds). After that, the volume bar isn't shown anymore. Restarting home screen remedies this.

There are already questions about this as @arfizal hints. You can get away with only restarting the lipstick i.e. the homescreen. Either if you have jolla tools installed choose restart homescreen button or developer mode with terminal : systemctl --user restart lipstick

I experienced the same issue.

Restarted and it was fine for a while.

I did notice that it went missing after I switched ambience.

Reproducibility found by me:
happened by deinstall an app (any kind, native or android one). During the process run a remorse timer (5s).
We may let it run until the end or interrupt it (is quite the same at the end), after this the sound bar disappear.
Thx @raketti for pointing on this.

Maybe this thread is a dup of this https://together.jolla.com/question/209293/bug-volumealarm-indication-barscreenshot-notification-at-top-missing/
Already tracked from jolla.

Please check, track and clean ;-)

Also confirmed here. XA2 with SFOS 3.2.0.12

I can confirm, that uninstalling an app/patch, does indeed cause ALL notification bars/bubbles to not appear unless lipstick is restarted. +1

I have the same issue. When using Rnet for example I can't see the level of volume because the volume bar doesn't show up. Besides that: at night I always push back the slider of sounds in the event screen. Until recently , when pushing the volume slider forward again in the morning, I heard the Jolla ring tune shortly. Now not anymore. Something is not right.

No, it's not. The Notification bar is visible, just the volume bar is not shown.

The same situation with my XA2 on SFOS 3.2.0.12. He came out of the situation by installing patch: https://openrepos.net/content/coderus/patch-extended-volume-control. Now there are two volume sliders.

no volume bar (Xperia X SFOS 3.2.0.12) restart helps.

Are you doing everything right? 1. Install the patch manager 3.0 (https://openrepos.net/content/coderus/patchmanager-30) 2. From the patch manager menu go to the online patch directory 3. Find the patch Extended volume control and install it (https://openrepos.net/content/coderus/patch-extended-volume-control) 4. Activate the patch 5. Use
