[XA2]no reception/battery status line after crash [duplicate]

Hi @all, after my XA2 appeared to have run into an oom state caused by alien dalvik trying to access sms, the status line holding network indicator icon, battery state etc is now gone. Reboot doesnt help. What DOES help is to reset the phone to factory settings and reinstall everything. However, having done that four or five times already I'm not really in the mood to do it all over again, especially since the status line appears to get lost each time alien dalvik runs into an oom and crashes and the backup would not install the apps again. Is there any way to recover the status line (e.g. by reinstalling the corresponding rpm or sth.)? Thank you in advance.
I have the same issue. I haven't gone down the path of reset as I have just got the phone to the state I like it.

Actually, I just stopped and disabled start android at boot in Settings, rebooted and the status bar reappeared...
