Non-latin(Cyrillic, Greek etc.) font size is bigger than Latin(English).
In SMS Russian letters are bigger than English. Please make font size the same.

As a fix you can get fresh builds of "Source Sans" from sourceforge, but here's an archive with all needed: Screenshot included Hope this helps. A proper fix would be to update Sail Sans font, but this is a temporary solution.
In the latest opt-in upgrade to 1.1.0.38 this issue is resolved, at least I can confirm this for Greek. It is also listed in the release notes (look for "Large font when switch to Russian" in the bug fixes section)

Tag this as a bug as I have the same behaviour
skrokhmal ( 2014-01-30 10:47:01 +0200 )editI think that all cyrillic fonts are slightly bigger than latin - I notice the same for Bulgarian.
zlatko ( 2014-01-30 10:54:40 +0200 )edit@zlatko: "cyrillic fonts are slightly bigger than latin". The impression might be there. But looking at my mixed document I just created: Latin letters in Arial (Unicode) are the same size as cyrillic letters in Arial (Unicode).
jgr ( 2014-01-30 12:17:28 +0200 )editIt relates to https://github.com/adobe/source-sans-pro/issues/6 as Sailfish's font is basically the same source-sans-pro. So it's font that doesn't have proper glyphs for cyrillic.
trminator ( 2014-01-31 12:38:34 +0200 )editThat is the same for Greek as well.
