While upgrading my Jolla Tablet from SailfishOS 3.0.0.8 to 3.1.0.11 using the default UI it powered off (with 50% battery). I tried to power it on but got stuck in boot loop.

I can get into recovery mode but can't telnet into the specified IP from a Linux PC. Tried several PCs both with USB2 and USB3 ports. Nothing shows up while running 'lsusb'.

Any idea on how to fix this?

UPDATE: 11th of November 2019:

I succeed in booting into an old Ubuntu 14.04.2 from a USB-dongle over OTG. All I need now to restore my Jolla Tablet is the content of /fimage aka. mmcblk0p12 from the Jolla Tablet to dd it to the device. If someone could please upload this it would be really helpful. @kid @condo4

@coderus I can't connect to it via USB. Isn't that required for reflashing? 😊

Do you have the text "RECOVERY: Connect USB cable and open telnet connection to address 10.42.66.66" visible in your Tablet's display?

@vige Yes. I get to that stage, but I can't telnet to the IP nor is the device listed while running 'lsusb' from the host computer running Linux.
