low battery impact on UI response

When battery goes on my Xperia XA2 plus 6GB RAM Seitseminen under 10 %, I can't load android apps (that problem I sometimes have with over 10 % battery too, but then the android apps runs on the 2nd or 3rd attempt). Also the UI is very slow, unresponsible, sometimes with low battery I can't run the sailfish settings. Why? I have 6 gb RAM in my phone... I think the system will run smoothly in every ocasion. Then I restart phone and status bar disappear, I must restart lipstick in terminal, but speed of system doesn't increase. The android apps still can not be loaded. In this moments I mostly want to change sailfish back to android. Can someone repair this bug?

I also observe this behaviour on xa2 ultra. I guess it is caused by the power saving mode. Probably you could deaczivate this by reducing the threshold to zero, but you would risk to have completely drained battery and would be unable to communicate...

Yes I experienced this several times. After experiencing so many bugs in this so called 'Operating System', you just end up getting along with everything that might come up...

i dont see that behavior at all on my xa2+ 4gb. but i think it could be related to nattery saving mode. do you use it? @kriziak

I've faced up similar issues after the battery is less than 10%. Even though I've had power saving mode enabled after 15%, this issue only occurs right after hitting 10% or less. XA2 Dual sim

Me too. Below 10%, very slow, almost not usable UI. XA2 dual sim. No power saving mode enabled.

My XA2 was never under 20% - The sweetspot for a battery is somewhere arround 45% and 85% of charge. I try to keep it there --> no charging over night - instead I charge just a little but a couple of times over a day. (-:

you know batteries arent that crap anymore. i used my jolla1 for 4 years charging it every night to 100% on a few heavy usage days got it down 0% and after all that time and abuse the battery is still good for more than a normal day. all this charging discipline is just paranoia
