Weird behavior of Xperia 10 - signal loss and system crashing
I have detected problem with losing of mobile signal (Sony Xperia 10, dual SIM, i4113, Sailfish X 3.2.0.14).
After the call (ended from my side) the signal is loss approx. of 10-40 seconds (no error message or "mobile network error", etc.). No 2G, 3G or 4G (icon) available on the right upper corner of the home screen and not able to receive SMS or do phone calls.
And when I tried to retry or make a new call instantly several times in a row, the system crashed. Boot always ended with blank screen.
Trying the recovery mode was not successful - the LED only one time blinked in blue color and device had been automatically rebooted.
Only after removing the SIM and SD cards entering the recovery mode was successful. And then it was possible reflash the system again.
Now I am trying to avoid the scenario (patiently waiting for signal recovery :-), but the problem with signal loss persists.
Does anyone have the same problem?
[Update: 3.3.0.14]
The problem with signal loss in some circumstances persists.
No Signal loss here.
Did you run the device before with Android and had a SIM card inserted that connected fine previously?

Peter S. ( 2019-11-22 06:49:39 +0200 )editSame here. Today I can confirm radomly signal losses again and again on my Xperia 10 Plus with Sailfish OS 3.2.0.14
ferlanero ( 2019-11-23 02:13:59 +0200 )editSame signal loses here and on the same dual SIM i4113, also never connects on 4G, even though in Android it connected on 4G+ at the same spot. Trying to use mobile internet almost freezes the current app. Stopping mobile internet immediately fixes it. When in Cellular Network in Settings and mobile internet is enabled, the internet status flashes constantly between connecting and connected. Fun. :)
Bundyo ( 2019-12-02 19:01:04 +0200 )editMy problem turned out to be (at least for now) old automatic GPRS settings set (I guess by provider). I've updated them to latest listed on their site and now 4G seems to work without a problem. I'll report back if something weird starts happening again.
