It would good to know which Jolla phones have more problems - the first batch with poppy red toh or the second wave with white toh?

Update version did not change to Naamankajärvi when trying to apply/install the update, but after factory reset works ok for now. Using LE TOH.

I don't think it depends on the device version. I would suggest another poll with OpenRepos applications in it.

@Sailor please set it up - the sooner we can discover the issue the better it is - right?

It could be also the android apps?

I don't believe in Android apps that could break the whole system but why not vote on that.

Problem: 1st update fails (still shows 1.0.2.5 after first try), second try to apply the update succeeds. While updating to 1.0.3.8 the screen turns black when installation progress bar is at ~33%, but update process seems to continue in both cases (phone reboots itself after some time).

Same thing for me, install needed two runs. And this morning, I had a connection problem loop of death. To fix : remove battery & reboot.

I also needed to do update twice, exactly as described by kauris.

The only unexpected problems I've noticed this far are

  • that the problem with weird birthday Calendar entries have reappeared
(for me it was fixed with the 1.0.2.5 update)

  • settings and data for apps not made by Jolla was reset edit: Not all apps, but a lot of them.
(According to #21842, they've just been moved?)

My guess is that it really doesn't matter what batch you've got, but the amount of tinkering you've done. I've
- installed a couple of Android apps (including Google Play, but didn't get it working without Terminal tinkering, so I removed it) transfered from Android phone (using "App Backup & Restore"), over bluetooth
- installed F-Droid, and downloaded a couple of Android apps
- not been tinkering in Terminal / used Developer mode
- notbeen using OpenRepos and/or installed Warehouse
