SFOS Nuuksio has a bad Memory Leak on Xperia 10 and 10 Plus. Does next update fix it?

I am using only Jolla account.

I have installed se-fi-01.protonvpn.com.udp.

Where the memory leak is exactly and how can you trigger it?

often the ofono has to be restarted! you can check with top in landscape mode...

This question is lacking essential information. "se-fi-01.protonvpn.com.udp" does not sound very much like SFOS.

There is a whiff of spam about this post, but the user registered back in 2015, so maybe not.

Could the OP be referring to the following?;

https://github.com/haugene/docker-transmission-openvpn/blob/master/openvpn/protonvpn/se-fi-01.protonvpn.com.udp.ovpn

@hed, you need to give more information, as suggested by Maus. Please update your question so we can understand exactly what it is you're asking us - the richer your info, the better the answers.

  1. Where the memory leak is exactly and how can you trigger it? At 6 am the battery was 100%. Now at 1pm it is 22%. That is, the battery does not last one working day. I don't use ofono.

  2. This question is lacking essential information. "se-fi-01.protonvpn.com.udp" does not sound very much like SFOS. I have ProtonVPN. Could it have an impact on this.

Unfortunately, I cannot explain this in more detail. Now when I have Xperia 10 Plus, the battery doesn't work well for one day. Previously, when I used the Xperia A2 Plus, the battery lasted up to 2 working days.

This does not make much sense to me. Memory leaks and battery percentage are not directly correlated. ProtonVPN may work via the Android layer, but definitely works with the built-in client. And if you have SFOS installed, you most likely do use ofono if you use any mobile services (it's still a phone).

well, why not try disabling protonvpn for a while and see if it helps the battery life

I've disabled ProtonVPN . No impact.

But OK. Thank you. I will wait SFOS 3.3.
