cant update to Rokua on Jolla 1

Hi Folks Has anybody updated to Rokua with Jolla 1. I follow the usual instruction settings - Sailfish OS updates The device picks up the fact there is a new update available to Rokua. The device starts to prepare and then asks to download the new image. It spends about 10 mins saying trying to connect and eventually goes back to preparing devise. When i use the devise to connect to the internet through the browser there is no issue seeing web sites.

When this release became available I was successfully able to download the image but not install. Anybody have an idea what the next step is?

Try devel-su pkcon refresh in terminal, then try to update again

Ive been trying for 30 mins to enable developer options to make the terminal app viable. but Its not happening. Is there another way to get terminal? Ive had a look on F=Droid and all thats there is not compatible and found nothing in the Jolla Store. Any ideas?

Check if your Jolla account is working, both on the Jolla account page and on your device in Settings -> Accounts

You must be logged in to your Jolla account on your device in order to activate "developer mode" etc.

It worked perfectly with mine, with GUI. I had no troubles.
I only test 3.3.0.14, not 3.3.016

In general:
When upgrading SailfishOS per GUI fails and you cannot identify the reason(s) for failing, try upgrading at the command line, preferably per sfos-upgrade.

Thanks for that. Problem seems bigger. I downloaded the open Repo SFOS upgrade but it wont install I gace the feature to all 3rd party apps to be installed. The command line means having terminal which I get get. Im waiting 40 mins for developer mode to enable.

Stop your attempt to enable the developer mode. Close that menu page. Then try again. This often helps (in the OS release in the device is older than 3.2.1). Jolla's instructions for OS updates are here: https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201836347
