SFOS 3.3.: The new remorse interaction leads to accidentally delete actions on assets (data lost)!

The "cross" icon on the right side is mapped to cancel the time gap and execute the action immediately. From the users point of view the intention is doing something or canceling it. So I run a couple of times into the situation where I press the "cross" to cancel the whole action! That leads to unintended deletions!

So the mapping should from the usability point of view (user intention) exactly be the other way around. Cross sign to cancel the action as a whole (do not delete of assets) and press the remorse ui area to skip the remorse timer and execute the action.

I wonder if I am the only user with this mindset (cross == cancel)?

i have.to agree with you. Cross button should cancel deleting but it doesn't.

swipe away is to execute action immediately but cross button should cancel deleting.

I say go back to old remorse timer behaviour: Tap to cancel delete action, swipe away to execute action immediately. No cross icon, no confusion.

I fully agree! I was mistaken the same way
