tl:dr +1

As I do not reboot very often thisnmight be already since longer time like that.

But nowadays mybXA2 often just completely freezes and I need to hard boot it via Vol+/PWR. And after coming up again I have exactly the same symptom.

I have the same:

  • Often waiting helps if signal strength is good.

  • Sometimes I have to enable SIM card 2 (which I haven't - I have a SD), and disable 2 temporarily.

Anyone suffering from this issue, please add the output from the following command here:

@jovirkku Just to describe the process, usually you boot up the phone, and then need to either wait for maybe 3mn until network arrives (maybe). or switch on/off airplane mode (and stay in airplane mode at least 30seconds). The phone will then say after all this waiting 'network connectivity error' and then finaly show and connect to network.. image description

I usually switch second SIM on and off to get it working.

The interesting thing is, that it is sometime working if PIN is entered immediately after boot. But even then it takes, I think, 1 min or more.

Hi and thanks. You seem to have the repo of Rinigus enabled. This repo contains the collectd utility which appears to be causing OS update failures [1], even connectivity after failing update attempts.
It would be great to learn if a) removing collectd or b) disabling the repo (devel-su; ssu dr openrepos-rinigus; pkcon refresh) could lead to a clean OS update.

Thx for the tipp. :/ This didn't help.Haven't collectd installed, but tried it anyway.

Thanks. Something else is causing the connection problem then. We have not seen it in our internal tests, so searching...

@jovirkku One additional info: I checked using CSD tool (cell position) instantly after reboot: - Sometimes WCDMA carriers are detect, before LTE/GSMR - rsrp is between 100 and 120 (so rather bad the signal strength)

btw: I am not sure what the numbers mean (shouldn't they be negative?)
