nightly reboot by RTC

the last 2 nights, i wake up and my phone has rebooted (it appears this doesn't happen if it's in a power plug), but since power is still very high, it's not that the battery is dead... last night it was still 94% charged, and i haven't charged it yet and it's still working...

the /var/log/systemboot.log (which gives the reasons for booting) says the following:

x-no-time-stamp Startup: preinit ignored on pwr_on_by_RTC
20140206_030555 Startup: pwr_on_status=pwr_on_by_RTC
x-no-time-stamp Startup: preinit ignored on pwr_on_by_RTC
20140207_002854 Startup: pwr_on_status=pwr_on_by_RTC

i should note that i don't have any alarms and uptime does look like it rebooted at that time.

looking at that logfile, i never had this before, i only had 2 software reboots (the upgrades) and a few hardware reboots when i was testing with wifi somewhere in januari

Hi, thanks for the report, we are checking the alleged issue internally at the moment. In a mean time could you try to remove battery from the device for 10min and then reinsert it and see if the problem persists?

i don't think that it's the battery, but sure, will do...

i hadn't removed the battery yet, and just now, i was typing in the unlock code and i saw the jolla logo, followed by a the blue light and then i need to put in the pin code... but this time, the battery was 4% so i assume that's a power failure and not the same thing... though i had thought it was still in the 60% range... and once i put in the power plug, it had already rebooted again and now it's 67% charged...

i don't think this is the same issue... but, maybe i do need to take out the battery and let it recalibrate...

Edit: i logged in via ssh and i noticed it did give the same messages as before with the RTC...
