Hi everybody!
I was thinking if its posible or make sense in the sailfish os paradigm the posibility to add widgets (like n900 callendar home widget) to the lock screen, so you can get some information without the necessity to open certain applications such as weather, calendar. Or even add some more screens (accessing swiping left/right on home) to add such widgets.
Does it make sense for you all?

I currently use Lockscreen widget manager, but this should just be natively supported. Displaying my agenda on the lock screen has always been one of my most important features on my phones and only for a little while it was officially supported on Android and all other times on Android and iOS I had to resort to jailbreaking, etc.
I don't know why the mobile OS producers are so against lock screen customization.
Why do you think they are against it?
As already commented by @virgi26 - "it's not in the tone of SFOS" - meaning, the creators of SFOS prefer FORM over FUNCTION, which is why we have 3rd party apps like Anig's 'Lockscreen widget manager'.

I really miss about N9 music control through lockscreen...
