I did sync my calendar and contacts from my N900 to Jolla, contacts seems to have gone well, but syncing calendar didn't go as well as I hoped, I did get all the events, but everything is off sync with 1 hour.

Example: Friend who has birthday on 27th of December, on the N900 it's a whole day event, on the Jolla it starts 01:00 on the 27th and lasts to 28th 01:00, so the birthday is two days instead of one.

Time settings on the N900: CET Time settings on the Jolla: Automatic (CET or a stupid derivate of it)

Also it had been nice if Jolla had support for CET. A solution how to adjust the calendar so that birthdays are correctly from 00:00 to 23:59.

Edit: Checking the Calendar xml in ~/, birthdays have the correct time span, but when looking at it in the Calendar application it is off sync with 1h for CET.

How did you sync the calendar? I was only able to sync the contacts.

You push out a sync from the N900 you can choose to sync contacts and calendar, don't think both are per-checked.

Can't sync Calendar to Jolla. either it aborts directly with "error" or hangs at "connecting..."

I also have a timezone problem with calendar events. All day events are shown as 0200 – 0200 (my timezone is UTC+2). I suspect it's the same bug.

1.1.2.16 / Yliaavanlampi As @deelkar and @Cmdr_Zod referred earlier: Calendar cannot be synced (or pulled or pushed) at all between N900 and Jolla, only contacts can be pulled using Jolla's "Settings > Bluetooth sync" (both device visible), which also brings birthdays to Jolla calender (i.e. from contacts).

Also Jolla does not accept *.ics files produced on N900 calendar.

Remember also: currently Jolla Calendar is not included in backups.

It would be great if this could be fixed! I have the same problem. N900 is still my main calender because it works fine (week view and hw keyboard helb a lot) and synchs with merely every other calender, including our firm's Notes calender - but not with jolla :-(

You could try try this solution: I synced my calendar on N900 to Outlook and then exported the Outlook calendar to file, which in turn has been added to googlecalendar via google web site. After that I just synced my google calendar to Jolla using "Calengoo" which is available via amazon store - it syncs well, much better and usable calendar for Jolla than the native one, the only disadvantage: the app costs a little over 5€...
