When I do online banking with my german bank (Sparkasse) i get authentication sms (mtan) with a number code to acknowledge this every time. Since I have Jolla i got none of these. I suspected the bank and/or my provider (EPlus). Finaly I lent a Blackberry Z10 - et voila! Within seconds I got got the sms as in the years before! How come? I mean, thats no shiny bling bling feature, thats SMS! The bread and butter feature of GSM! I even got not notification that some SMS had been rejected - nothing. How can I be sure that no other sms got lost? And these sms are nothing special with some codes in it. Header is SparkasseN Then follows some text on the transaction date, time and sum. At the end comes the numeric code that I have to fill in into the online mask of my bank. If this can't be repaired, Jolla will be my first real worthless phone.

I don't know if this might be related to the issue of Flash SMS (class 0 SMS), sometimes used for authentication codes, not being shown:

No flash. This authentication also works on regular cell phones. Only the auth code is emphasized in some way. But this wasn't a problem the years before.

Just to be clear, Flash SMS has nothing to do with Adobe Flash support.

A Flash SMS is a type of SMS that appears directly on the main screen without user interaction and is not automatically stored in the inbox. It can be useful in emergencies such as a fire alarm or cases of confidentiality, as in delivering one-time passwords.

Hi. I also use mTAN-system with a different bank and different mobile provider. It works flawlessly since I have my Jolla.
