Unnecessary animation when opening events screen from launcher [released]
Update: This seems to be fixed in 1.1.4. Cool!
As you all have noticed, when you scroll down from the home screen to the launcher, the ambience background image also scrolls a bit.
But when you’re in the launcher and open the events view with a swipe up from bottom, the ambience image in the back of events is first shown in its ”home position” and only after that scrolls to the position it was in before you opened the events view. It’s an unnecessary animation and also not logical; the ambience image should be in the final position right when you open the events screen.
Screenshots taken in the beginning and the end of the animation:
Edit: This glitch persists in 1.1.1.27, though a bit less visible than before now that the events screen has a coloured background. To reproduce, choose an ambience background with strong contrasts; open the events screen from your last launcher page, leaving your finger on the screen; once you release your finger, the background scrolls.
I don't have this behaviour (1.0.4.20). When opening the event view from launcher or home screen, the background doesn't move.
idiallo ( 2014-03-20 23:58:44 +0200 )editThat's funny. I thought it was introduced in 1.0.4.20, as I never noticed it before – but then again, I've used Ohijärvi for several days and didn't notice until now. I wonder, could it have began just now... ?
ssahla ( 2014-03-21 00:31:46 +0200 )editHave you changed the ambience ? Installed new apps ?
idiallo ( 2014-03-21 00:35:04 +0200 )editI switch ambiences every day. Yesterday I created a new ambience, but I noticed the glitch with an ambience I've used for a long time. And no, I didn't install new apps yesterday.
ssahla ( 2014-03-21 08:51:28 +0200 )editNow running on 1.1.1.27 (Vaarainjärvi) and no movement in my background image.
