Avatar background in Messages?

Would it be possible to have the avatar as the background in Messages? It is already used when calling...
The chosen ambience would be used for contacts without avatar.

It would be nice to see avatar backgrounds used in Sailfish 2.0. ...and not just as a patch.
I like this idea but i think this should be optional. :)

I'm not sure if all of the avatars I use would make good backgrounds for text... and I certainly want to select avatars specifically for this use case.
