I installed from warehouse faad2, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg-extra, gts-plugins-bad-extra and gts-plugins-ugly all by sailfish_lib and now i can play all aac files (at least i still haven't found an aac unplayable) not sure if they are all needed or if installing only one of them works
EDIT:
some aac unplayable before can now be played, there are still some file unplayable, like the one posted by coderus
Are you still getting HW acceleration for AAC when using those codecs?
00prometheus ( 2014-05-06 00:07:57 +0300 )@ZioBilly HW=hardware, i.e. there appears to be hardware acceleration for playing and recording h263-encoded video and AAC-encoded audio (both used by default camera). Do your codecs activate that hardware acceleration? Otherwise battery will drop dramatically when using them.
