[Solved]Open an email gives blank screen [answered]
Have had this bug from the outset and none of the releases supposed to fix this have done so.
This is NOT related to opening email from the notifications screen. It is just as simple as opening an email from within the email application.
There is no loading circle animation and the screen just returns a white blank screen. Subsequent attempts to open the same mail have the same effect. Nothing exceptional about these emails. Some have attachments but most do not. Upgrading to 1.0.4.20 has not resolved the issue.
Interesting... I've never had this except in rare cases where the email was rubbish. Could you perhaps make an example email and pastebin somewhere the full thing (headers, etc.) for further troubleshooting?

bockersjv ( 2014-03-28 17:06:32 +0200 )editI just had the same issue with an e-mail sent from a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, between Yahoo accounts (don't know if it's relevant). The email had image attachments which downloaded fine, but the text content never loaded, having a continuous loading circle. The pulley menu was also inaccessible, although visible. The e-mail loaded fine on my N8.

bockersjv ( 2014-03-28 17:19:01 +0200 )edit@bockersjv Ok. Then our issues are slightly different in behavior, but might still have a common cause. Can you access the pulley menu from that e-mail?
