in the email application when I have message open I am occasionally seeing following behavior:

when I try to swipe right to left I don't get to message details - nothing happens. This is the most common case.
when I try to zoom out to get the dots visible I am not able to do that (ie. not getting dots visible).
in that state I can't in some cases also not go back to message list

Only thing I have found to help is closing email application and starting again. This may have to do with situations where there is new email indicator, email app is open, and I go in there to look at the new mail. Can't repeat this issue though.

This is happening with plain text messages ?

There was a bug related to device orientation that causes the dots to disappear for such messages(those don't zoom), this is fixed in next SW release.

@VDVsx yes, I am seeing this also with messages that have only text. Not sure if they are plain text as such. In portrait. These messages typically zoom, but kind of "not enough to show the dots".

Sailfish 1.0.7.16, and before as far as I can remember: Symptoms as described above can be reproduced in the following way, with an html-formatted mail message and an orientation change: - Open the mail app - Open an account - Open an html-formatted message - Scroll the message upwards to the bottom - Now turn to landscape mode: navigation dots are gone, scrolling back to top doesn't bring them back. - Turn back to portrait mode: navigation dots still gone Based on some light testing I would say that the problem only appears with html formatted, but not with plaintext messages.

I'm still experiencing this issue. Once I open an e-mail, I (usually) cannot go back. This is really annoying and renders the email client unusable. I'm running Sailfish 1.0.7.16.

@evdw - Rotation in html emails change the zoom level causing this problem, it's a known issue.

@juzzlin - Are you still having problems with plain text emails ? have you tried to zoom out in the viewer to make the dots appear ?
