As a first other half, apart from ideas regarding hardware qwerty etc, it would be nice to see an other half which simply has the additional gimmick of a flip-cover for the screen.

It has been done, and btw in an awesome finnish way...

I already asked on September 13th via twitter: "@JollaHQ @noreve @Proporta ... anyone bothered supplying quality case makers with dummies to have pouches avail. along with our new jollas ?" ... nobody bothered to consider / reply sth. Then I asked Noreve again by email on January 3rd ... but no response to date. The only pouch-maker I know so far is www.fitbag.de -- they customized one for my jolla (measurements about the same as Sony Xperia ZL. A great alternative could be proporta's universal case : http://www.proporta.com/gecko-leather-smartphone-case-universal ... it won't destroy your other half, as you're actually sticking it onto the flip. Too, it has the functionality of flipping it away rearside for camera-use .... no need to (re-)punch hoiles ;-)

This type of cover seems to be the most common one around my part of the world. The cover could have different configurations: Book fold / notebook fold / top&botton fold
An exclusive leather other half would be nice to have on those dress-up occasions...
The design would introduce the possibility to add a flat keyboard to the lid of the protective cover. A similar product is available for pads (Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio).

Exactly what I want too! Alternatively a flipcover that clips onto any standard other half.
