Hi,

my Jolla Phone reboots from time to time very often by itself. It reboots in standby and avtice mode. I recognized the problem since SailfishOS is aout of its beta time. Think there is a bug in the mobile network software. For example: I am driving by train in the morning and I have almost no problems while surfing and listenting to the music. On my way home in the evening I always get problems between the two city. The phone crashes and restarts by itself. Only activating the phone, but NOT the mobile connection, works fine, but activating also the mobile network crashes the phone and starts rebooting. Some days it is booting more than 10 time after activating the sim card.

Because of that, I think the bug must be in the mobile network part of the OS. Are there any planed fixes or are there any other useres with the same problem? From time to time this bug is very annoying :/ Are there in any place some logs which could help you to solve the problem?

regards matl

Ok, thanks, will give it a try. Am I correct, this is not only a hardware problem, but also a software bug?

It seems that it is related to several software problems, out of which some were fixed by the latest updates (not all of them). The paper inserting solution seems to help since it is tightening the battery contacts and making the phone more stable. I had no reboots or shut downs since then.
