Yesterday i wanted to take a picture when my jolla started to act weird. It became fully unresponsive and i had to takeout the battery. After the reboot it still was really slow, like at least a second delay for each action. This was when my friend asked me why i am resending the past 5 sms i sent before. I put the phone on plane-mode and waited as i thought maybe some kind maintenance after unclean shutdown keeps going on. Today the phone is back to normal speed but my friend told me she received the same sms again. Any ideas?

Are there any messages left in the 'sending' status? Try deleting the message that keeps being sent.

SMS handling definitely needs some fixes as there are several issues reported on related topics. An issue I have almost every time is receiving the same sms twice. It might be a network issue, but it could also be related to Jolla.

As i removed my complete conversation with that contact i cant tell. But i noticed this permanent 'sending' status once or twice before and it caught my attention then, so i dont think the messages werent in 'sending' status.

Answer: disk full https://together.jolla.com/question/30822/root-and-home-disks-full-and-causing-various-problems/

Lessons learned: -use an sdcard to store music/videos and images. -unused diskspace doesnt always mean available diskspace.
