After yesterday's work on maintenance on Jolla account and store Services (see https://together.jolla.com/question/44741/official-announcement-maintenance-on-jolla-account-and-store-services/), when I go to the Store and choose "My apps" from the pulley menu, I see only one app (it is an app that I removed today and reinstalled it), all other apps are gone.

Is it just a problem that has happened to me? Anyone?

Edit: it is also not possible to install or update any apps when affected by this bug.

No problem here, seeing all apps...

I see all my apps but I know at least one person where they are gone.

It's not an answer per se, but yes, we acknowledge there's an issue and we're currently working on it. Fear not it should be fixed early next week.

Obviously apologies for this. Some major changes have gone in to support the Store going forward - perhaps most importantly with a view to allowing more libraries to be used in the Harbour - but clearly it needs some fine tuning.

In a nutshell to support a more open Harbour we need to know which versions of an application we can offer to a given version of SailfishOS and what is currently installed and somewhere here the logic has gone awry. Which partially explains why it works for some and not for others.

We're working to rectify this ASAP, please bear with us.

-- Update: 14 Jun 10:45 BST --

It appears we've fixed this in 99.9% of cases without the need for user intervention. Also as has been pointed out re-signing in with your Jolla account would have fixed it in some cases. As alluded to above the problem centred around how we handled which applications (including their version) were installed for a given account and on what device. I don't mind admitting it hasn't been straightforward to solve for all cases.

We're grateful for your continued patience. The driver for this is to bring you a store with a broader range of applications - amongst other things - hopefully this will become more obvious over the coming months.

ps. Apologies for not posting more updates sooner.

I just upgrade to Saapunki version of Sailfish OS, but "My Apps" empty bug is still there. Fix was not in the new OS version?

same problem :(

Nicolò ( 2014-06-10 11:08:28 +0300 )edit

It's a problem with the store so it's not something that can be fixed with an OS update.

nthn ( 2014-06-10 13:19:28 +0300 )edit

after the latest update, the phone was working ok, my apps were visible and i even upgrated an app. however, later the phone got into a rebooting loop shich i had to remove battery to become stable, but now i noticed my apps list is empty

I had this after the update. I took the following steps to fix for my device / account:

  1. Reset Device - PITA but I figured I had not done this before and a refresh might be good for it.
  2. Update 1.00.05? - 1.02.5
  3. Jolla registration - Select a couple of apps (Should download ok)
  4. Update 1.02.5 - 1.07.16
  5. Back into Jolla store and select a non Jolla core app (In my case one installed and next app I got an error)
  6. Remove Jolla account
  7. Reboot
  8. Add Jolla account again (Fine since then)

In my case only removing and readding Jolla account worked. Crossed my mind as I had to do the same with email account after last update.

Bringing this up cause it still happens. Of course deleting and recreating your jolla account fixes it but it is something that should just work.

Uppdated was gone for me too. Disable and re-enable the jolla acont didn't change that. But after a reboot it seems to works fine.

Same here, cannot see nor install anything. Hope it will be solved without the need of a reboot.

magullo ( 2014-06-07 08:43:22 +0300 )edit

The effect of the reboot is only the restart of the store-client. You can do this also by closing the store-client app and waiting for five minutes. No need for a reboot.

reboot or restarting the store-client does not help in my case, still no 'my apps'

Just wait. It's a server-side issue and you can do nothing to fix it yourself. For some people it works again, and for some not yet. "My apps" in the store-client is populated when the store-client starts. So to check if the problem has already been fixed for you, close the store-client and wait some (maybe 5) minutes before opening again.

I currently updated my password of my Jolla account and now it works. Tested it some hours ago and it didn't work.

Looks to me that the bug has been fixed. Thanks Jolla for a quick response to this problem.

Edit 10.6.: Obviously not everything is fixed yet. As commented by @sdjayna there will be an official annoucement when it's fixed.

Really? I still have empty My Apps page...

magullo ( 2014-06-09 17:25:59 +0300 )edit

@magullo I did restart the phone because I got some weird message about the store, but I didn't thought that it has to be done to have the problem fixed. Please try to restart and see if it helps.

@magullo I'm sorry to hear that, I really thought it was fixed for all of us who had this problem. Feel free to reopen the question and give an answer or edit the question accordingly.

Hello, yeah we've been working on it all day, and addressed some issues, but there remain some outstanding. Will update you officially when we believe it's fixed.

It's not a real answer by itself, but I'd like to share the discovery that warehouse, the app for openrepos, displays updates even for official store. Now it showed me Map updates and Markat, and I was able to update both from there.

It was indeed a server problem, as stated up by @sdjayna, and now it looks like they solved, even though there's no official report yet.

My Store worked fine, after the downtime maintenance. This bug first appeared on my device after updating to 1.0.7.16.

I managed to fix this, simply by deleting my Jolla account from Account settings and then add it again.

Not need for reboots, new password or device reset, at least in my case.

However I discovered if that if recovered Account settings from a previous backup, made 09/06-14 at 21.55 ECT (just before updating to 1.0.7.16 and after the Store downtime maintenance) the bug came back and I could fix it once again by recreating my Jolla account under Account settings.

Therefore I suspect this to be an issue with the way old sql data vs new sql data for Jolla Accounts gets interpreted.

I don't thonk so, since I've removed and added Jolla account twice since 1.0 7, but until yesterday nothing seemed to work. Today everythong lookd fine, but still no official announcement.
