In web browser we have now true multitasking!

If we go on youtube though and play a video and we open a new tab, then the video pauses.

But if you just launch webcat (other browser by leszek) and then close webcat, the video resumes in web browser!! :D

Is there any way to make this behaviour default, without having to launch webcat?

Edit (11.12.14) @1.1.0.39 , cannot reproduce anymore :(

thx

Well, not really multitasking in that sense of prioritized proceses, but rather cached multitabbing. So your request or point is quite valid. That depends however what is really desired. If you want the video to immediatly resume or not. guess its a matter of taste.

Truly matter of taste. I think we have true multitasking, but for some reason it is disabled. But launching webcat enabled that in our web browser.

Remember about memory consumption. Each page takes a lot of memory

Having browser-tabs staying active in background drained my battery (plus GPS, both where high on power consumption 80%->4% in 6hours)
