Add "wallpaper"/"Ambience" setting to Settings/Display [released]
Would be nice to be able to configure the Ambience/Wallpaper from the "Display" submenu in Settings, not just from Gallery.

Having ambiences in settings indeed makes sense. But the original design idea behind it being in gallery is that you could select a photo as ambienc, and within the same application, configure the ambience, remove it if it is not pleasant, or favorite it.
As this original design makes sense, I would love to have the input from Jolla designers about the pros and the cons of putting it also in settings, or making it as a dialog (just like accounts dialogs in the share menu of the gallery)

I agree. It makes much more sense to have it in the Display settings rather than the Gallery (although having the possibility to access it from the Gallery is nice).

As it happens, I started using it with the Other Half off, but when I popped it on (the white one), the theme (which I later learnt is called an Ambience) really ruined the experience for me with its busy and yet low contrast background, and I spent more than an hour trying to click on everything in Settings to find out how to get back to the original theme. I was quite stumped, and only found out how to do it after trudging through several long threads here on TJC, threads generally focusing on how to use gsettings vs. ... eh, I already forgot what the new thing is called.
In any case, a shortcut from Settings is really needed to make this feature discoverable.
