Hej,

Did anyone else notice that when opening an e-mail from Notifications screen (when received only one message), the E-mail App opens (naturally), but after reading the message and swiping back (to the other accounts) the E-mail App gets partially unresponsive. It does not react on clicks or Pully Menu. Upon scrolling it only fades as when the upper end is reached. No Pulley action or opening a mail box can be triggered.

To fix this, one needs to close the E-mail App. Upon re-opening it, everything is normal.

EDIT (also updated tags):

Now with Uitukka it is even worse.

Let me explain: This time I noticed the above-described behaviour when opening an application (let it be mail, messaging, any) and using the Dynamic Rotation Lock (holding the screen while transitioning from landscape to portrait - or vice versa). This time the Pully Menus don't work as long as I don't transition again without locking the orientation.

Is it only me experiencing this?

EDIT II

It is still there with Yliaavanlampi (early access).

EDIT III

It is still present with U14.

This can happens for large mailboxes, workaround atm is to recreate the account. Some performance improvements are coming in next updates.

@VDVsx: Even though that would be a sort of remedy, it is still a bug. It makes no sense why it would appear only when having opened the email client from the notifications page. It doesn't happen when you open it the "normal" way. Its a weird behavior.

Yes, it happens to me too occasionally. I believe you need more than one email account to trigger it.

Sometimes I have the feeling that it has something to do with the orientation of the device when the notification was clicked on the at the Events screen.

Let me describe it: When I check the e-mails while in bed, laying sideway, the E-mail app opens in landscape while the Home screen is in portrait. I prefer to read the e-mails in portrait, so I move my Jolla to shift orientation, then I dynamically lock it in portrait (with a finger on the screen). After this, the above-decribed thing happens.

LVPVS over.
