Alarm clock crashed and sounds failed totally

not necessarily. I'm aware there are many other issues with alarm clock but none that I've read of describe crashing of the program or sounds. Who knows, this could also be a dupe of some sound issue.

Nevertheless, the alarm clock had never crashed before and it seemed there were no descriptions of it.

edit: I read again the suggested post and no, this has nothing to do with switching off the device. The phone was running all the time from setting up the alarm to noticing the alarm had failed. So this is not certainly a dupe, at least not of the mentioned post.

@sa.rasputin: Really excuse me, but do you even read what I write? The post in your last comment didn't talk about crashing nor about incoming call problems. Also the alarm didn't go off, even late, after I used the phone. Please don't throw similar-titled questions as "duplicates" at random.

your problem is duplicated because if you carefully read posts about the alarm clock you will realize that you are not alone. periodically popping up all the problems with the alarm clock of a different nature. and there is no relationship. sporadic error alarm. problem has existed for a long time and create a separate branch solely on your problem does not see the point, because it is one and the same problem with the alarm clock. that's why your post is duplicated!

addition: I just like you have a problem with the alarm clock. alarm clock also closes when i try to activate / deactivate the alarm.
