"No content available. Transfer some songs to your device"

Whenever i tap "All songs" in Media app, i got above message displayed for 5 seconds and then it shows my songs.

I have a few tracks in home/nemo/Music but media app is showing the same message constantly. Any hints on how I could fix it?

It takes even much longer when songs are stored on mmc. Sometimes I have to reboot to access mmc, and the covers displayed vary between reboots.
