Its says to swipe down to access notifications, but there is nothing dedicated for it [released]

it would be quite helpful is there was something dedicated for the notifications. maybe something like what the others are doing, Samsung's Magazine, HTC's Blinkfeed, Nokia's Timeline, etc. Otherwise it is quite troublesome to access the notifications sometimes, firstly as it is hidden, and secondly because there is a lockscreen when swiped down.

As said in the release notes, Sailfish events view is not available in Launcher yet so notifications are available via standard Android notification bar.

We hope to add this feature from Sailfish OS to Launcher eventually.

The erraneous hint about events view is removed in Launcher 0.2.1.
