Jolla eats a lot of mobile data

Jolla seems to consume unreasonable amounts of mobile data. Just recently I connected it, checked Twitter and emails and about 10-20 megabytes got slurped. I've apparently used about 70 megabytes in the last 3 days, whereas a on the N900 25 MB lasted me for a full month, with similar phone usage. It's not just the counter in the settings, which is known to be unreliable sometimes: the data from the network operator confirms that.

Might auto updates be the reason? I don't know how often are they scheduled, but N900's defaults were crazy too, so maybe there's a way to turn them off?

Got the same issue. Mobile data is being slurped like water in a desert. No idea why.

I have 2GB evaporated in 6 days. That's my monthly limit!

Got the same issue after update 1.0.8.19. Jolla eats my mobile data rapidly. I have a 500MB Volume, which last for the hole month in the past, but after update my Jolla eats my Volume like a Wolverine. From todays morning till now about 50MB for nothing. No Email, no facebook, no pics over mitakuuluu. Hope the issue will be identified soon.

I removed my email account and added it again, issue seems to be resolved. I'll let you know if it is on the long term.
