I cannot proceed with an system update to SailfishOS 1.0.8.19. I get the notification icon and can tap on it, but at the settings menu there is no SailfishOS Update entry anymore. I am using SailfishOS 1.0.7.16 (Saapunki). Don't know what happens. It was there before. Also the Backup entry is missing. Is there a workaround for a system update via shell commands? I don't want to reset the device to defaults, now.

I have the same kind of problem. I get notification that there is 1.0.8.19 available, I install it, everything seems to be fine but when I check the version, it is still the SailfishOS 1.0.7.16 (Saapunki). I don't get any error messages.

Ok, case solved for me. I didn't have space enough. I cleaned up my Jolla and now it is upgrading.

@Aimo Did you get a notification for not having enough space, or figure out yourself?

Does the notification appear if you're checking for updates?

I haven't tried myself but " version --dup" might do it.

Thanks for this hint. I could proceed the update to SailfishOS 1.0.8.19 with this CLI command. I have to do it twice. First time from the console and then via the settings GUI.

My Jolla doesn't found update. I have version 1.0.7.16 and when I try to find update it says "Up to Date". I'm the first one so I should be earliest who gets update. :(

I proceed the update with " version --dup" via ssh console. It installed the update successfully. After reboot there was the "SailfishOS Update" entry in the settings menu and I do the update to SailfishOS 1.0.8.19 again. So, after all (update twice) I could solve the problem with the shell command.
