Hi, I've the same issue as this person, only my phone won't respond to pressed down volume down and power to get telnet access. There is no buzz, and the phone just goes steady red led to jolla logo then fair blue steady led after which it goes all blank again.

I just bought the phone yesterday, soon came the Tahkalampi update, which downloaded, and reeboted, after which I followed suit and started getting some essential apps through the app store. Then noticed that apps wouldn't launch, or rather they'd show, starting up, on the Home screen and then just disappear. So I swithced off the phone... and it ended up like this.

Update: Phone sent to retailer's (DNA) repair shop after consulting Jolla Care. No replacement phone given for the two weeks (on average) service round.

I had mine sent for repair three times. it's about 6 or 7 weeks with no phone. so dont't wory it might be worse. and... never sell your old phone you might find it very useful again... :(

Mine is now updated and said to be ok. Waiting for it to arrive at the retailer.

Might just add now, though it's been a few months, that I did indeed recover the phone fully functional after repair.
