tracker-process consuming all memory

I noticed my battery was running out very fast (~20% per hour). Looking at top/lighthouse, tracker-store was consuming 50-100% CPU. Per some instructions here, I run tracker-control -se to reset it.

During metadata extraction (as indicated by tracker-control), tracker-store ended up consuming >50% of memory, and tracker-extract >11%. This caused the phone to freeze and reboot. After a number of reboots, apparently tracker metadata extraction completed.

Not sure what exactly triggers this behavior or whether it's reproducible. There are a number of EPUB and text files on the SD card.

This might be a related issue:

Also I can confirm a number of EPUBs being on the card, so even the cause might be similar.

I had the same problem with 'tracker'... although there were no 'epub-files' on the SD-Card. Only mp3's. About 12GB of it. After about 24 hours the problem was gone... in this time the battery drain was over the average. But I never had the phone freezing or reboot. Just a lot of CPU Usage and battery drain.
