I encountered a bug where the Jolla device won't be able to connect to a Bluetooth device (e.g. Bluetooth speakers). Steps to reproduce this problem:

  1. Pair your Jolla successfully with some Bluetooth device (e.g. Speakers) via Jolla's 'settings > Bluetooth'
  2. Disable Jolla's Bluetooth and disconnect the devices
  3. Reset/ Delete the Bluetooth pairing list on the accessory device
  4. Enable Jolla's Bluetooth again
  5. Try to connect to the accessory again. It will tell you that the Audio connection is beeing established but it won't connect the two devices anymore. Even after searching for nearby devices and clicking on the accessory won't establishe a Bluetooth connection anymore.
  6. Long-press on the paired device in Jolla's pairing list and delete this accessory from this list
  7. Establishe a new connection with your accessory and save this pairing to your list on your Jolla
  8. You will be able to use and connect to your accessory without any problems again.

The conclusion is that our beloved Jolla should notice that it is unable to connect to a known accessory because of a (possible) reset of the pairing list and should guide you through the pairing process again for establishing a working connection.

Hi,

your deduction is essentially correct. If the link key is deleted from the other device, we should prompt the user to pair again when trying to connect with that device.

We have an internal work item for this but I can't at the moment say in which update we will be fixing the problem.
