getting notification for disabled calendar / caldav account [duplicate]

i have two caldav accounts that are disabled. first i only disabled the calendars conected with them but later, when i kept getting notifications and the alarm sounded for events in those cals, i disabled the accounts completely but, i still get notifications/alarm. i do not see the events in the calendar. is this a known issue? couldn't find a question about it yet.
