media-player stops playing when refreshing mailbox and finally all apps are killed

While listening to songs located on the sd card through the media player, refresh the mailbox for emails. Internet connexion is through Wifi. The Media player stops playing by intermittence while mailbox is refreshed and finally Sailfish kills all running apps.

Sounds like an out of memory situation. dmesg could show that kernel oom-killer is killing processes. AFAIK, jolla SW stack does not have better out of memory handling in place, e.g. something in GUI framework shutting apps down nicely when limits are too close. I can confirm this behaviour when using the web browser together with the media player. While loading some pages the media splayer freezes
